Allah
From Allah’s beautiful names (Al-Asma’ Al-Husna): ٱللَّهُ
Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah.
Allah: He is the One worthy of worship, deserving all the meanings of divinity, which necessitate that He alone is to be worshipped, He alone is to be praised, He alone is to be thanked, the Most Great and Most Holy, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour.1
“The name Allah refers to the One Who is adored and worshipped, the One Who possesses the attributes of divinity and to whom all His creation is enslaved. The attributes of divinity with which He describes Himself are the attributes of perfection.”2
“ That is Allah—your Lord! There is no god (worthy of worship) except Him. (He is) the Creator of all things, so worship Him (alone). And He is Al-Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things. ” (Al-An`am 6:102)- Bahjat Qulub al-Abrar, Shaykh al-Sa‘di, p. 255, Arabic↩
